About Us
In Lieu of Flowers was founded in December 2010, along our own journey of grief and healing. The gift of light helps brighten the darkness that is left by the death of a loved one. A remembrance lamp provides healing, comfort and warmth for those who are left behind.
Giftwrap & Personalization
All lamps include gift wrap and personalized card, with symbolism. Each lamp is beautifully wrapped for presentation.
Lamps that are being shipped are packed securely and wrapped in beautiful paper. All shipped items will include insurance with the delivery carrier.
A word about wrapping: lamps will be secured in their original box and wrapped. The presentation is tasteful and appropriate, however, the original boxes are not pretty.
Please include the following for ALL purchases:
- Which card sentiment would you like? (See "Card Samples")
- Recipient (Who is receiving the lamp? Include all names you would like listed on the gift envelope. Last name will not be used here unless specified.)
- Who is the lamp from? Please list all names you would like included.
- If you have selected a lamp with a tulip or lily style shade, please indicate your color preference.
- Who is the lamp in memory or honor of? If this is a sympathy gift, what is their relationship to the recipient?
